About Jessica:
Jessica is a seasoned professional in the mental health and counseling field, boasting a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master’s in Counseling and Development Psychology from Texas Woman’s University.
Over the past decade, she has served as a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in trauma-informed therapy.
Her expertise lies in addressing PTSD (childhood trauma), ADHD, anxiety, and parenting challenges, employing a person-centered approach to foster healing and growth.
Jessica is also a proficient parent educator and coach, leveraging her firsthand experiences as a mom to provide valuable guidance and support.
As a Plaid for Women contributor, Jessica shares her knowledge with a broader audience, while concurrently pursuing her Doctorate in School Psychology from Texas Woman’s University.
Her extensive background includes roles in non-profit organizations, public schools, and private practice, where she has contributed as an educator, case manager, and Director.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Jessica enjoys her roles as a wife and mother of 2, finding relaxation in activities like reading, cross-stitching, and crochet. Her commitment to personal and professional development underscores her holistic approach to life.
